Her story
A journey shaped by people, places and passion.
It began at a cousin’s wedding in India. Shehnaz was around 13 or 14, and returning for the first time in years, when she picked up a henna cone and fell in love.
Back in Oman, where she spent 28 years, neighbours and friends became her canvas. In time, passion turned into professional training, and more than a decade later, Hennaaz was born in Melbourne.
Her work brings together the richness of Indian tradition and the grace of Omani and Arabic design.
